Prince Claus Fund (PCF) is an independent foundation dedicated to culture and development. With trust-based funding, connections and recognition, they serve engaged artists and cultural practitioners in places where culture is under pressure. PCF faced the challenge of modernizing and diversifying its funding sources, with a particular emphasis on increasing institutional, corporate and private funding. To address this, PCF sought to revamp its brand identity and strategy, aiming to better engage its extensive global network of awardees and artists.
We designed and developed a new online platform that seamlessly integrates PCF’s refreshed strategy and brand identity. The platform is designed to highlight the global network of awardees, with dedicated pages for each award category and an annual celebration page to honor awardees each year. The “Culture is-” section presents rich, editorial-style stories from PCF’s initiatives, offering engaging narratives that showcase the Fund’s cultural impact. Additionally, we integrated the Award Entry System with the Content Management System (CMS), allowing for the efficient management of hundreds of awardees since 1997.
The new platform has significantly enhanced PCF’s digital presence, making its cultural contributions more tangible and accessible to a global audience. Increased visibility and streamlined operations have fostered stronger community engagement, allowing PCF to focus on its mission while efficiently managing its extensive network of awardees. This digital transformation underscores the critical role of innovation in modernizing cultural institutions and ensuring their continued relevance and impact.
